All bundled up, we headed out to see the sights in town. I suggested Newport’s historic “point” neighborhood for PattyJ.com’s newest content shoot. This stunning waterfront neighborhood offers beautifully preserved cottages and estates from the 1600 and 1700’s.
Sarah Petrarca is a super talented Rhode Island photographer, based out of Little Compton. Her brings a fresh perspective to the trade, currently working with companies such a Narraganset Beer, Marine Affair surfing magazine, and newly launched 1927 Beauty.
When I was looking to refresh headshots of my own, Sarah obliged, and I got to snap a few of her in return.
Reinette Fournier and Yogi Tom have co-owned Tenth Gate Yoga which offers programming for the pursuit of elevation and transformation. Their specific focus is to provide the resources to assist people in managing the stresses and challenges of daily life in order to live a happy, healthy and whole existence, through yoga, kundalini and meditation.
In March of 2020, they sadly had to give up our brick and mortar, but continue to Live Stream Kundalini Yoga and Meditation classes from their home.
Looking to refresh the look of their website and social streams, Reinette asked for new headshots and a few lifestyle images they could both utilize for both social streams. I choose to deliver black and white images and well as color to give them an additional range they could work with.
GYPSY JEWELRY was established by mix media artist Samantha Zigbuo. This Rhode Island based jewelry designer and self-proclaimed #gypsywithazipcode creates one of a kind boho inspired pieces that can easily transition from day to evening. Clothing styled by Bohemian Bias, Samantha modeled her own wares. Our lifestyle shoot was set on Ocean Drive in Newport, RI.
