NewportOUT Event: Pride Cruise

I had the privilege to join up with NewportOUT once more and sail the aboard the legendary Schooner Adirondack II alongside the super talented Trailer Park Girls. Fun and merriment had by all who attended. We could not have asked for better weather on this gorgeous September day as we sailed across the Narragansett Bay.

A Surprise Proposal: Marlene + Amanda

Hiring a photographer that specializes in capturing surprise proposals means you can rest easy knowing your moment will be beautifully memorialized. As long as you’ve got that ring in your pocket and a smile on your face, everything will turn out beautifully! 

This was the advice I gave Marlene, when she first contacted me, hoping to surprise her long-time partner Amanda. Marlene had booked a stay in Newport Banister’s Wharf Guest-rooms overlooking the harbor.  Newport meant a lot to them both as it was one of their first romantic getaways together as a couple. As Marlene dropped down to one knee to pop the question, guests and passersby looked on and cheered when Amanda said, “YES!” 

After the shock wore off, the newly engaged couple and I strolled through the streets of Newport, snapping pics along the way as they reminisced about the exact moments each one knew they were “The One.”

NewportOUT Event: The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille

This organization was created to showcase Newport, Rhode Island and the surrounding area as open as an inviting place for travelers who identify under the LGBTQ umbrella. NewportOUT entrusted me to tag along and capture some fun during a gorgeous summer evening at The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille in Portsmouth, RI. The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille focuses on creating a comfortable, friendly dining experience for all. Their creative menu offers coastal cooking with a New England twist and their main dining room, indoor bar and dog-friendly outdoor deck and bar provide stunning sunset and water views.
